Many schools in Hampshire have had fun raising funds for Simon Says – why don’t you get your school involved? Here are a few ideas...
How about having a ‘Crazy Hair Day’ where the children can do crazy things with their hair for just one day. Plaits, mohican, spikes, stripes or wigs it’s a great way to raise funds and have fun!
Or why not hold a Non-Uniform Day and allow the pupils to come to school in their own clothes if they make a donation to Simon Says.
You could have a sponsored silence or allocate one stall at your school fete to raise money for Simon Says.
Another great way to help us is to choose Simon Says as your school's Charity of the Year.
Schools choosing a Charity of the Year tend to fundraise only for that charity throughout the year. If they choose to do so they can pick one week in the year in which they will carry out their main fundraising events on. During this time, for example, you can hold an event on stage every lunchtime (a talent show, an auction etc.) along with sponsored sports events, raffles, sales, competitions and quizzes.
School events really are a great way to have fun and to get a whole community, including the children, involved in raising funds for Simon Says.
