A Simon Says Volunteer Quote

I have been involved with Simon Says the child bereavement charity for a few years and was in the first group of volunteers to be trained. I have watched the charity grow from strength to strength and have done a variety of jobs within Simon Says from answering the phones, fundraising, giving presentations to schools and helping to set up the support groups. I find talking to people and helping them to try and cope with their own and their children’s bereavement very rewarding, although in many cases you may never know how much help you have been.

Our Support Groups are held once a month for families in need of help. The children do craft activities and discuss relevant topics related to bereavement. I go home tired but satisfied that on that day I have helped them along their journey.

The charity is always looking for new volunteers to join. HOW ABOUT IT? simon says volunteer

I am continually grateful for the impact the charity has had on my life and am proud to be apart of something that helps children to help themselves.
