Jill Livingstone

Hi, I’m Jill, and I began volunteering for Simon Says in 2019 at the Chandler’s Ford Group.

I chose to volunteer for Simon Says as I know there is a real need for this type of support for children and young people in Hampshire who experience the death of a parent, or other important person in their life. Like many others I also have a personal connection.

It’s a tremendous privilege to volunteer for Simon Says. The group sessions are a safe and secure environment for children to be listened to and understood. It’s heartening to see children grow in confidence over time.

My background is Charity and Recruitment. Whilst my primary involvement with Simon Says over the last 5 years has been the monthly sessions, this means I am able to assist Simon Says when requested in these areas as well.

I am very proud to be a small part of such an amazing charity.
