A BIG shoutout to Beth Adams who successfully completed the Brighton & Hove Triathlon in aid of Simon Says Child Bereavement Support.
Beth swam 1.5km, cycled 40km and ran 10km! An incredible achievement.
She smashed her fundraising target, and at the time of writing has raised £625 for our charity. This will make such a difference to the lives of bereaved children and young people living in Hampshire.
Beth explains why she chose to fundraise for Simon Says CBS:
“My brother and I went to the support groups after the loss of our Dad when we were 7 and 9, so I can vouch for not only how brilliant the service and volunteers are, but how crucial it is that services like this exist for families going through tough times.
My Mum now works at the charity doing amazing work to deliver support for young people across Hampshire. She is also working to get grief training on the curriculum so that we can all be better equipped to look after ourselves and others during bereavement.”
Thank you Beth. 🙏
